Good evening. I intended to write this morning. So it is now evening.
Isn't that how life goes? Your intentions and your actions just don't match. And so it is with acting. That authentic performance you so hope will happen when you do that audition tape. And even in that 45 second tape, only 10 seconds of that are fun, heartfelt, in the moment or real.
We all strive for the real moments of life. I want it in my performance. I want to be me and that character. And what is that? Not living in the shadows and living in the light? Do we know how we achieve that? I do. I swear, I do. It just hasn't kicked in yet. Be you, that's all we can do.
